On this Thanksgiving, we are so grateful for you, our readers, who allow us the opportunity to give back through doing something we love.  Thank you, thank you!  We hope you will continue reading and spreading the good word, and of course, let us know what you think!

And like most people, no matter where they come from or how much they have, we too are most thankful for our family and friends, who mean everything to us.  Last, we are grateful for each other, because there is nothing like a sister (or brother!).

Enjoy this photo Lo took of the changing ivy from her charming Chicago apartment, as well as a few of our favorite words on gratitude below.  Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
 -John Fitzgerald Kennedy

"Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal.  It's a way to live."  - Jackie Windspear

"The world has enough beautiful mountains and meadows, spectacular skies and serene lakes.  It has enough lush forests, flowered fields,  and sandy beaches.  It has plenty of stars and the promise of a new sunrise and sunset every day.   What the world needs more of is people to appreciate and enjoy it." - Michael Josephson
